I am a human right activist in the Luthewran church in Southern Africa in a country called Swaziland. We are facing a lot of challenges in this country as human rights are a taboo because the countrys leadership rule this country with decrees hence political rights are infringed. So we have opened a human rights watch to hel;p people who have been affected by the state who are members of the church and the office will take everyone in the country. So we need to form a partnership with your church so we could help each other. The state is arresting people without trial and daily brutalise those who want to challenge the state.I think we could work with your advocay department to capacitate us in our tarrain. Our life is very problematic as this country is rulled by a king with his brothers and they do not want any opposition.I would like you my brothers in christ to respond and then I could send you more information. But what could be best is making means of meeting each other for a proper briefing.Mathew 25 says Jesus said when I was in prison you di not visist me, when I was hungry you did not feed me.that means we are a family in the word of God.

It occurs to me that globalization may bring with it more uniformity. I wonder if this would be like doctinal uniformity, which historically has been assumed to be necessary for Christian unity. I've just posted on the latter question...your post has me thinking about how globalization impacts the relationship.

I am a reverend minister in the Lutheran Church of Ethiopia. I lost my wife and son to AIDS. I am living with the virus (HIV)for the past eight years.
I noticed that the stigma in the churches is much severe than in the cicil society. As christians the scripiture challenge us to love every bodylike ourselves.Unfortunately the case with an HIV postive preist or pastor is different. I wanted to be an advocate for many people both ordained or not christians or not that their rights should be repected with their conditions. It is on this ground that I met mr. Christian Alberts and wanted to join this movement to leberate people and myself from unjust social, and religious structures in our time.
I f we do not do something today, history will judge us.
